Value Based Management

Definition: Value Based Management is the corporate governance principle and management approach that ensures corporations are managed consistently on long-term shareholder value creation.
VBM achieves this by providing consistency of the corporate mission, corporate strategy, corporate governance, organizational culture, corporate communication, organizational structure, decision making processes, performance management systems and reward management processes with the corporate purpose (typically maximizing long-term shareholder value) and corporate values.
