Definition: a Management Process is a process that monitors, controls or governs the operation of another process or system.
Also called: steering process.
Can be further decomposed into:
- Steering Processes
- Decision Processes
- Communication Processes or Information Processes
Typical MPes are: management control, corporate governance and strategic planning.
MPes are one of 3 main types of business processes, along with primary processes and secondary processes.
