GROW Model

   

Definition: the GROW Model is straightforward technique for goal setting and problem solving. It is particular popular for coaching, counseling and mentoring.
The meaning of the letters in the GROW acronym are:
G - Goal(s)
R - Reality (Results so far)
O - Obstacles (Options)
W - Way Forward (What's next)
The strenght of the GM is that it combines goal setting and problem solving in one framework. Also the GM is easy to understand and remember, and straightforward to apply without special training.
An extended variant is the GROWTH Model.
