Coaching

Definition: Coaching is a method and technique which can be used for guiding an individual to new learning in defined time frames.
Typically, a coach supports the coachee to release his/her 'undiscovered' potential or find the 'real problem', and facilitates him to develop a strategy and action plan which has to be realistic, achievable and time-bound.
Contrary to mentoring, C is not context specific. A coach is normally a professional and does not work in the same professional field as the coachee.
Also called: counseling.
