Process Modeling

   

Definition: Process Modeling is the activity of representing business processes of an organization to allow process analysis and process improvement.
Traditional modeling tools were developed to illustrate time and cost, while recent tools focus on cross-functional activities.
PM uses many techniques such as Flowcharts, Gantt Charts, PERT Diagrams, IDEF, Unified Modeling Language and Business Process Modeling Notation.
