Expert Power

   

Definition: Expert Power is a form of power that is based on having distinctive knowledge, expertness, ability or skills.
EP is one of the bases of social power as described by French and Raven.
EP is a form of personal power, being based upon a person’s personal attributes, as are also referent power and informational power.
