Definition: an Executive MBA is a (typically part-time) education program and master's degree in business administration (management).
It is designed for students who are further along in their careers and want to continue working full-time while in school. Schedules vary among programs, but most offer part-time formats like weekend classes. The core courses in an EMBA program may cover various areas of business such as accounting, organizational change, business communication, business ethics, business law, finance, managerial economics, management, marketing, innovation, strategy, logistics, leadership, personal skills and development, HRM, etc.
